  • We will argue that Scott Hamilton picked up in American Men’s Figure Skating where Dick Button left off. A four-time World Figure Skating Champion and 1984 Olympic Champion, Hamilton followed Button into the broadcast booth, and like Button, he again picked up the same mantle as the prime voice in figure skating.

    As of this writing, Hamilton's infectious enthusiasm has blessed 10 Olympic Games, and he has also hosted the Fox program Skating with Celebrities.

    We are proud to nominate Scott Hamilton for the United States Athletic Hall of Fame.
