  • Statistics & Accolades: 4x Sports Emmy Award Winner
  • Working her way up the ranks in local Minnesota sports radio and television, CBS hired Michele Tofoya in 1994, where, for five years, she developed a national profile for her work on basketball, tennis, and Olympic Telecasts. ESPN/ABC signed her in 1999, and she became the sideline reporter for Monday Night Football, cementing her status as one of the authoritative female figures in sports.

The very likable Tafoya moved to NBC, again working the sidelines for Sunday Night Football, while also working their Olympic broadcasts. She left NBC in 2022 of her own accord to pursue other endeavors.

We are proud to nominate Michele Tafoya for the United States Athletic Hall of Fame.
