  • Known as the “Bird”, Ian Eagle has worked for CBS since 1998, where, as of this writing, he still serves in that capacity. Eagle has been a regular commentator on the NFL, where he is currently the lead on the number-two team. He also covers basketball on the network, and he is now the lead man during March Madness.

    Eagle has also had long-term employment with the YES Network as their lead play-by-play man for the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets and has called matches for the Tennis Channel.
